Why Flax Seed?
Flax Seeds have been a part of the human diet for over 5000 years. To the Cherokee Indians the Flax Seed was as sacred as the eagle feather. They believed this small brown seed captured energies from the sun that were vital to the body's life processes.
Over the last hundred years, oil refining, cereal milling, factory farming, air and chemical pollution, smoking, alcohol, even stress have served to deplete omega3 levels in our bodies to critically low levels.
